One for the Absolute Beginner, is finding information via a search engine. If you have a problem, then in all probabilities the answer can be found in Google click here MSN click here Mr Sapo click here or many others that are available via the internet.

It's all very simple. Just use one of the links suggested above. Type in a small question [examples] 'What is a computer'How doe's the internet work' or any other question. Then if all works well, you should have a possible answer.

Sometimes you may find that the answer is not quite what you are seeking, in which case, just change the wording in the question slightly.

Hope this little suggestion helps. It can be a lifeline before embarrassment :o)

The best way to use a search engine is to think of it a a book index.. For example --if you wanted to find information on the cricket insect and you enter cricket into the search engine, all you will get is information on the game of cricket.-- You have to index it-- First word Insect then cricket then what you want to know-- e.g.breeding---in the form 'insect cricket breeding'.. Hope this helps.. Terry
