Hi,

I want to get a PC but my room's pretty cluttered already and I haven't really got room for a monitor. Should I get a laptop or could I get a PC and use the TV out? I was considering the SONY / PCV-RX402. I only want it for internet access, word processing, and music, maybe the odd game.

Advice?

You will find it very difficult to use for those purposes, as a TV display just is not detailed enough for most people.

If space is that tight, consider a TFT screen ('LCD panel') instead of a conventional monitor, or perhaps a laptop.

Or think laterally, and use your computer monitor to display the TV - all you need is a TV Tuner card, quite cheap nowadays.
