User profiles

Wow, it has been a while. Anyway...How or indeed CAN user profiles be set up to have different progs installed? Not just color schemes etc.? e.g. I want to set it up so that when the kid logs on with his user name, he does not have access to the programs I use and vice versa when I log on. If I use the add remove programs dialog box under his name to remove programs, will they still be there when I log in under my name? I think that is clear 'nough!

Thanks again.

Edit the Start Menus by right clicking the Start Button and choosing Explore. Remove any icons from under his menu and move them to yours. Any icons under All Users will appear on everyones Start Menus.

Also look at the Desktop folders under each user.

Not 100% but should be enough.
