User configurable wireless router

I currently have a Linksys WAG354G wireless router. Although it works adequately well I'm frustrated at the very limited user interface - basically, I'm a network engineer by profession and would like to be able to SSH in to the box and get a shell session running, so as to see/edit the raw iptables and syslogs. I had thoguht there might be some undocumented codes to get this kind of access, but if they exist no-one's published on the web! I'm now thinking of replacing the box - does anyone know of any other makes/models (Belkins, Netgears?), with an ADSL port, that has the kind of flexibility I'm after and is generally an all-round good device, for less than £100?

I have variously used Belkins, 3Coms, Drayteks and Linksys in domestic or small office environments - all are good products, but none are intended to offer the kind of control that you are looking for. I think you are expecting too much from domestic products.
