USB2 pci card

I have just installed a usb2 pci card (no problem with it) but it has 3 usb ports which are accessible from the back of the comp and 1 which is inside the comp on the other end of the card which you can't use unless you take the case off the comp anyone know what this is for?

Hi, The one inside is generally for a USB front panel. I prefer the USB 2.00 PCI cards from the States as they have sets of header pins on the card for front panel connections. Cheers, Bill

billyliv- Cheers for that, I would also prefer one for the front panel but as this was one of my first digs inside the comp I bought a cheap one in case it didn't work.
