  perpetual motion 15:00 16 Mar 2009

Hi ive just bought a Netgear click here

I cant seem to get on the net, i was told i only need the Wireless USB not the modem/router to get online Is this true.?

I dont have any driver that will support Vista ultimate 64 (If anyone can supply please)

& although u might ask how come im on the net now thats cause im using a old P4 pc which is like watching paint dry..

You can't connect using just the dongle....You need a wireless adsl router / modem combo with your isp settings for this to work.

Can't find a 64 bit driver either :((

You have to connect the router to the pc with ethernet cable first to set up the router then when done, you will be able to use the wireless connectivity on the pc and do away with the cable.

I set mine up without the cable. I couldn't use it because my PC doesn't have an Ethernet Port. However, it took a long while, was very fiddly. I haven't got a clue how I achieved it and I don't recommend the experience to anyone.
I would rather watch paint dry than go through that again!
