USB Thumbdrive Remaining Capacity Does Not Show

  rapieredge 18:17 02 Jan 2008

When you look in Vista's explorer/my computer at all the drives that are attached, my thumbdrives are missing the vital information of how much capacity they are and how much is remaining/available.

An external USB HDD shows up with this vital information, why not a USB thumbdrive?

I tried Googling for information but cannot find anything about it. Any advise much appreciated.

I don't know why, but they don't in XP either.

However if you right click on it, and select Properties, it does show in the same way as for other drives.

Oh so its supposed to be like that, thought in Vista it would be plain to see?

Is there a fix for this?
