USB Sticks

I recently copied everything on my 2 hard drives
to a number of USB pen drives. One of them, containing my registered copies of anti-virus and anti-malware, is being a little difficult to transfer to a new Hard Drive. Everything else went smoothly, including my OS, IE8, and photos.
Have I done something wrong, all I'd like is to do the transfer without having to re-register. Any help will be appreciated.

You cannot "transfer" installed programs on to a new drive - you have to reinstall them from the original executable programs. There shouldn't be a problem to keep/transfer your registration.

It depends on how its been copied to the usb pens. As above you cannot copy installed Programs then expect them to work on a new drive

That's where Acronis True Image comes in to its own
