Hi allI've just had aol silver bb installed, though looking through the posts on here this could seem to be a mistake? Could get trapped in yearly contracts? Support not brilliant?Anyway, it was supplied with 2 leads, usb & ethernet. My pc has a spare usb port & my Device Manager tells me I have a VIA Rhine II Fast Ethernet Adaptor.Could anyone tell me which would be the better connection or does it make no difference? Many thanks in advanceSkulkin :0)In case its useful Belarc indicates:-Main Circuit Board b 1.80 gigahertz Intel Celeron8 kilobyte primary memory cache128 kilobyte secondary memory cacheBoard: P4X400-8235 Bus Clock: 100 megahertzStatus: Healthy768 Megabytes Installed MemorySlot 'A0' has 256 MBSlot 'A1' has 256 MBSlot 'A2' has 256 MB
I'd go ethernet if that works for you.
Diodorus Siculus - Thanks for your reply.Any particular reason why? Skulk :o)
Simply my preference and it seems to cause fewer problems than USB.
I would concur with Dio's comments, plus it keeps another USB port free.
