URL removal

My brother wishes to remove some but not all of his recently typed URL's from the address bar(sites visited by his grandchildren). I know CCleaner will allow you to remove all recently typed URL's. My question is how can you be selective when removing URL's and is there a way. All thoughts and ideas excepted.

If you mean ONLY recently typed URLs, there is a way that I know of, but which involves editing the registry. There may be a simple program that will allow one to easily do this - if I find one I'll be back to post it. G

PS - The drop down list (or AutoComplete click here) & History are stored elsewhere.

Here's a couple that should help: EditURLs click here or Address URL Edit click here. G

Hi Crossbow7 thanks for your help I will look into those programmes a little later and let you know how I get on.
