upgrading from service pack-1 to sevice pack-2

I have sevice pack 1 (win xp) and when i go to windows update site it says to download service pack 2 (about 75mb) if i install service pack 2 of the internet and install it will it delete my files and pictures???

no it does not change any of your own material.

No it will just update the windows files your personal files will be intact,but i think its more than 75Mb.

It wont delete anything from your system. It just adds and updates system files, not the files you have created.

They only thing you would have to do, is to uninstall your Anti-Virus and Firewall programs as some wont work once you installed SP2 (you can re-install then afterwards with no problems).
