Trying to update from Money 2000 to 2005, all goes well until the new program tries to convert old data. then following error message appears.

Runtime error
Program...gramfiles\microsoft money 2005\mny corefiles\ms money.exe

this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Any ideas please.

IS it worth updating to 2005 or should i stick with a working 2000 version of money?

I'm using Windows XP Home version

Sorry can't help with your prob.

If, 2000 is working and does all you require of it I would stick with that, and only upgrade if the 2005 ver has a must have feature (like making sure toast dosn't fall butter side-down on the floor;-)

I still use quicken 98 on XP home, it does what i need (it was free, too).

Many thanks vinnyT, I think sticking with money 2000 will be the best action.
