Upgrade Wireless

  prycey 16:21 27 Jan 2006

I currently have a BT Voyager 200 modem linked to a Linksys WAP11 Access Point, with a 802.11b (WMP11) card in my main computer and laptop.

I get a really bad signal with my laptop - a lot of the time around 1mbps - even with the laptop in the same room.

I'm looking to upgrade my setup to 802.11g to get a better signal on my laptop (this would work, right?)

I'm looking to buy a new wireless card and a new ADSL wireless router (to replace both the modem and Access Point). Recommendations?

Also, would I have to buy a 802.11g card for my main computer, as well as a new router?
