It's also very worthwhile downloading the unofficial Windows 98SE Service Pack (a labour of love by the author) which will update 98SE right up to the end of Microsoft's support:

Ya I have read the tread but I have a formatted drive which previously had win98 but since I formatted the drive I cant seem to load win 98se on it. Its a lap top that has one bay which is shared by floppy and cd rom and each time I try to load with cd rom support and load the cd rom it comes up error of config.sys on line 9,10,11,16-35 and stops at A:> Is there a way that I could load se without cd rom support using DOS commands. I cant even get into the bios, it used to be F10 but that dosent work now. Confused I am....!!!
