Upgrade Advice

Hi guys

Ive got a MESH AMD Athalon 2400xp, Ati 9700 pro graphics card, 512mb, 80gb hd, Asus Motherboard.

Whats the best option, buy a new motherboard, graphics card, or buy a new system?

A second hard drive would be a start I suppose.

Some games would be good.

Would my 128mb Radeon 9700 pro card be ok for games now?

Don't know much about gaming but think that a new graphics card would be important - and another 512mb RAM.

f.e.a.r quite a heavy hitter,
min sys req: 1.7 gtz cpu, 512 ram, 64mb gefore/ ati9000 grx and 5 gb hdd free space.

recommended sys req: 3.0 gtz cpu, 1 gb ram, 256mb geforce 9000 series.

and thats the highest spec game i have, imo that would run fine if you doubled your ram, it ran fine on mine with 1 gb ram 64 mb on board grx and athlon 64 3500+ 2.200 gtz
