My son has just obtained a laptop, but when pc boots a screen come up with the following message"Blueyonder installer" underneath it says "if installation cd is not in cd drive please insert disk now".
Blueyonder has never been installed on this pc , I have checked add/remove programs, nothing listed have carried out a search in the registry again nothing listed.Although this window doesn't cause any problems I would like to remove it, any ideas would be welcome

Try ,Start->Run->type in 'msconfig'(without " ' ")->click Startup tab.
See if anything relating to Blueyonder here.
If so untick it.

It might be listed as Telewest (same goes for registry search).

click here Download this program, it is excellent for telling you what is what at startup and much more. Let it run at all times it will guard your computer and if anything untoward happens it will tell you. "Scotty on Patrol"

rawprawn ,but it will inturn add itself to the Sartup List!!
I find it better to keep things very simple and never
use extra 'guarding' programs.
