Unwanted WebSites

  Kernow999 09:39 06 Jun 2009

Whenever I open Internet Explorer, strange and unwanted websites open also. Some say that my computer is filled with viruses and needs scanning while others are advertising. Ocassionally, a small pop up appears saying 'website from Highly Relevant Advertising'.
I have run AVG Free, SpyBot and Malwarebytes spyware but all find nothing wrong.
Any thoughts please? Slightly concerned!

Many thanks

I have just run scans in safe mode and run the freeware (not kaspersky yet) but I still have unwanted sites opening when I go onto a website, like this one.
I will try kaspersky

I have just found a program installed called Highly Relevant Advertising. I reckon that is my problem. Dont know how it got there. Uninstalled now. Lets see if that solves it.

Thanks for all your help
