unwanted pop-ups

Like many folk I am being bombarded with pop-ups when on line. An application called “winpup32.exe” has been offered to me free (in a pop-up!) to stop all pop-ups.

Does anyone know if this program is safe to run? Who is offering it, there seems to be no identification given?

Try click here it stops pop ups no problem & it's a trustworthy company. I have had a few bits of software from them & they seem very good.

It sounds like spam offering an end to spam - I would not touch it simply because of the way they are advertising.

Do a seach for popup stoppers on these pages, or have a look at: click here for one. There are many ways of doing it - changing browser has been the most effective I have found; Mozilla has a built in blocker and it is free.

They do a few freeware programs the one you want is called No Ads.
