i keep getting a message from psguard telling me that my computer is infected and then of course they want me top buy their product in order to rectify the matter. Howwever, Norton Antivirus and Spybot search and destry both tell me that my conmputer is clean.
How can I get rid of this annoying pop-up?

Is this a Messenger Service pop-up like click here

  doriena 14:59 24 Aug 2005

No. It is just a small "bubble" from an icon on the tool bar.

It hasn't really solved the problem for me. It seems to be a case of buy one product to get rid of another.

I wasn't suggesting that you buy anything, just follow the removal instructions.

Or follow Norton's instructions.

I don'tfeel expert enough to follow the very complicated looking instructions for manual removal and it will only do it automatically if you buy their product.
