unwanted desktop background

Recently I found that my desktop background had changed to something that I had not deliberately chosen. I have of course changed it back to what I do want (via,DisplayProperties >Desktop>Background, etc.)and I found the unwanted background was in IE Wallpaper. I would like to get rid of it completely. can someone tell me how to do so?

Delete the offending wallpaper from the os, a list of wallpapers will be found in Control Panel > Display > Desktop. Simply find the offending one and then delete it.

Thank you Jak but I find that I cannot do this. I can of course go to Display>Desktop but when I scroll down to the offending one (IE Wallpaper) there is no facility for deleting it.
