A file keeps appearing on my desktop. It is called simply "~" (What IS that symbol called?). Does anybody have any idea what it is?It doesn't SEEM to make any difference whether I delete it or leave it alone.
did its arrival coincide with adding a contact to your outlook exprees address book, for instance after you replid to an e-mail you received, this "tilde" file has turned up on a lot of our systems and is safe to delete.
