Uninteruptable Power Supply wanted

Any recommendations for a UPS, please? A basic 550VA such as click here is all that's needed.

Slightly more expensive but virtually double the capacity.

I actually use these, but at a higher capacity and have found then reliable.

Sadly, the more powerful versions seem to be no longer available (at least at present). Also, keep in mind, the units Stuartli offered at are plus VAT, whereas, this one is including VAT.

Thanks, the one coming out on 15th May looks promising.

LastChip, thanks, that looks good too.

I have a Belkin UPs and have had no trouble with it. I let Windows manage it rather than the supplied software.

APC get good reviews.

U would normally recommend APC (I get their e-mail newsletter on a regular basis), but they are not cheap for the specification you require...:-(

Thanks old friend, I am good with electronics, but as this is for someone else I will stick to ready made.

The First link I gave I think the Battery is External. So should be able to use a big one

  Woolwell 13:19 05 May 2009

Did you get the UPS?
I happened to be looking for something else and found the Misco site click here and the APC seems good value.
