uninstalling video drivers

  crenac 14:56 03 Oct 2007

I have a Dell Dimension 5100, with a Radeon X300 video adaptor. I am trying to upgrade to the latest drivers from ATI. I have followed the installation notes, and am left with one entry in add/remove programmes. This is "ATI display driver" which will not uninstall manually. It shows as "0.851-040825a.017900c-Dell".
I have asked AMD help line, but their suggestion to use MS clean up utility (previously 290301) does not seem to apply to my problem as it only deals with MS programmes.
Any ideas?

I have an ATI X800. On drivers, I jst download from ATI, along with latest Catalyst Controller, and install, & don't un-install the previous version. It appears to update to the new drivers without the need to un-install the older version. Why can't u do this crenac?
