Uninstalling program

  sky121 13:36 24 Mar 2010

Someone tried to install Nero burning software on my computer once but the installation was never completed. I would like to uninstall it from my pc. The only place where it shows is on Program Files but that's not the right way of doing it and I was told that can cause trouble. Can an uninstaller program such as Revo (free edition) safely uninstall partly installed programs on the computer? Can CCleaner do that as well? Thanks.

Either that install it again and remove it using Revo Uninstaller.

I tried installing it again from a disc but it says that a folder called 'Ahead' (the manufacturer of Nero) already exists on my computer so it does not let me install it... Any ideas? Will it let me install it if I try downloading the latest version from the internet? Thanks.

I would give it a try and see if it will install the latest version.

Or you could try the Search option in Revo.
