Uninstalling Norton Security Centre 2005

  phil.smith 21:03 09 Sep 2005

A friend has decided to stop using the above and install AVG and Zonealarm instead. He tried to download AVG but appears to have downloaded NoAdware and has installed Zonealarm. However he has now lost his connection to the Internet (via AOL).

He has tried to uninstall Norton but is having problems getting rid of all of it.

Has anyone any suggestions please as to (1) why he may have lost his connection and (2) how he can successfully uninstall all of Norton?

Many thanks

Uninstalling Norton Security Centre click here.

NoAdware is a bogus antispyware program click here. Tell him to uninstall it & install+update+scan with Ad-aware click here, Spybot S&D click here, SpywareBlaster click here & MS Antispyware click here. G
