Uninstalling Favourites

  NSBT 14:06 03 Nov 2007

I have some sites listed within my favourites, which I no longer use and wish to uninstall them from my system.

I have looked in add / remove programmes and cannot see the site names, how do I go about finding and removing them please?

I think I'm confused, sorry.

I've deleted it from the list "My Favourites" but how do I remove it permanently from my system

Yes, you are confused.

Having deleted it, as described above, you HAVE removed it permanently from your system

You need to do the same in the History List
(right click and delete)

On the toolbar, click the Favorites Center button . (the Yellow Star)
Click the History button.
You can change the way in which the websites you have visited are displayed. You can sort them by date, site name, most frequently visited, or most recently visited. To do this, click the arrow to the right of the History button, and then choose an option from the list
