Uninstall Problem

  flobby 12:43 14 Apr 2006

I have done a clean up on my Comp and got rid of all programmes that I have dabbled with or tried to.
In Control Panel I have "Bentley Microstation" 5.38mb. But when I click on Remove I get this Error message. "Directory Error
Uninstallation cannot proceed. The Directory Exists."
I have searched for BM including hidden files but that cannot find it BUT it is in Control Panel.
Any Ideas?
Cheers Flobby

You could always try Ccleaner it has an uninstaller.

click here once you have uninstalled the program it is a good idea to run this click here
This will clean up any redundant registry paths left over from uninstalling.

Thank you for the replies.
Ccleaner gave the same error message as control panel when trying to uninstall. so,
Used Vog's method using regedit. This still left the entry in control panel, then I went into Ccleaner and deleted entry NOW it is all gone. Thank you again for your help.
