Undesired Material on restricted site

I have recently acquired a used pc and have found a restricted site containing rather offensive material. How can I get rid of it

I don't understand exactly what is is that you have in the PC. "Websites" are hosted on web servers and you need to access them with a browser, although obviously the content has to be downloaded to your PC to be viewed. However, this would normally go into the "Temporary Internet Files" folder and can simply be deleted.

In what form is this material that you have a problem getting rid of it - or is the PC infected with "nasties", viruses or spyware that keep taking you to undesirable sites online?

First thing you should do is run ad-aware/spyware/malware/virus scans.

Ad-Aware Personal: click here

Spybot S&D: click here

A2: click here (get the free edition)

A good free virus scanner: click here

Also CCleaner is good for deleting cookies/temp internet files and other 'crap' click here to get it.
