Under performing gaming PC

Hello, My PC specs are: AMD Six-core Processor @ 3.0GHz ZOTAC Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB

My friend runs with: Xeon Quad-core Processor @ 2.33GHz Nvidia GeForce GT 740 1GB

We play a game called Verdun, and he runs it on Ultra graphics at 25-30fps and I run it on Ultra graphics at around 20fps.

Why does this happen? I would not expect it as my setup is better than is in terms of processor and graphics card.

I think iy practice the Xeon out performs the AMD. Check out benchmarks of the 2 cpus on the web.

Well after some research, i found the benchmarks for both. As i am new to PC's, could someone tell me what the score means and how the two processors are related as in which is better?
