Hi to all Forum Members

As I have been experiencing problems with my Mesh Matrix
PC (error message with Windows Explorer), I wanted to repair Win XP (Home).
I got as far as cmd.exe (command module?)
and after about 15 minutes it reported back the following;

ERROR 1817: Destination Disk is Full. Factory. pqi deos not exist.

What the hell does this mean?
my hard disk is certainly not full.

I would be very grateful for any advice.

Kindest regards
to you all
Rogmur (Perhaps I need a new PC)

From the information that I have seen on this error code, it sounds pretty dire, i.e; fatal. (Sorry to be the bearer of this news). You need to immediately backup all your data.

Do you have the original restore disks complete with all of your drivers?

Do you have a set of recovery discs?

It may be that the operating system backup is on the discs rather than the recovery partition.
