Unable to reload Win XP Home

The sytem is a kosher system from Argos (no L
laughing). It is an IQon system (Phillips manufactured, Intel Celeron 2.0Ghz, 256 DDR RAM,
Maxtor 40 GB hard drive, Samsung DVD player and ASUS P4S533-MX mother board. The system was infected with MSBlast which has been removed. In my infinite wisdom I decided to try a reformat and clean install of Win XP and all other software.
I can get the sytem to boot up and display in Win Xp. I cannot get the Win XP disk to get beyond the following error message that WINNT32U.Dll could not be loaded or is corrupt. It fails to load other CDs giving the error message number 0xc0000006 as the reason for not carrying on.
The Microsoft Knowledge base is not that helpful in that it refers to NT4 OS fixes. I did manage to get a fix prior to this latest c--k-up by altering the DMA settings but being me I am not sure exactly what I did to resolve the problem.

Type the word, WINNT32U.Dll into google, the first link up will take you to M/S page for the fix. j.
