Since last Saturday everytime I log in to bank account, I am transfered to another site click here... My firewall then throws me out of ie. I spoke to the bank, they have not heard of this problem. Have run a scan through Norton, no virus etc found. Have run bt spyware and spybot no spyware found.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Bob

..they should be used to this by now.

Check your host file - it may be redirecting those addresses somewhere else.

On my system it is:

c:\windows\system32\DRIVERS\etc\hosts

open it in notepad and it should be fairly empty of entries except for some comments (lines with # at start) and maybe localhost e.g.:

127.0.0.1 localhost

if you have something like

x.y.z.a lloydstsb.com

then that is your problem - get rid of it and you should be well on your way.

You also may have something in your startup/a browser helper object.

I use winpatrol to stop this kind of thing.

I see from your first post that you are running Internet Explorer. You could try downloading and installing Mozilla Firefox from click here and see if that makes a difference. In any event you would be much more secure with Firefox than IE.
