I have downloaded IE11 but am unable to find it. When I try and download it again and click to install I get a message Setup cannot continue because a more recent version of Internet Explorer is installed on your computer. Any ideas as to where it is hiding? Thanks Allan

There are a number of possible answers to this problem.

What I would suggest is that you put "unable to find Internet Explorer 11 after installing" in a Google search, and you will find many possible answers or solutions. Far to many to link here.

There's also references to using 32 or 64 bit operating systems, which might make a difference.

Personally, I use Firefox or Google Chrome because of regular problems with Internet Explorer.

IE is part of the OS and is under Windows features. It would normally create a shortcut or be listed undre All programs before the main list of programs. It is normally found in C:Program Files/Internet Explorer. Have you typed Internet Explorer in the search box under the Start button.

Assume that you are using W7.
