unable to download photos from CDROM

  Bill&Ben 15:19 09 Sep 2005

I have a full CDROM of my photos. I tried to replace a photo with a new photo, and since then have only been able to download just 30 photos, the page starts with the 30 icons, in front is a picture of a folder titled PENTAX 100, I usually click on this & all the photos appear, but it states "file is empty" but according to the disk info there is no unused space, I hope I have'nt lost a years photography !! Can you help, thanking you.

Is it a CD-RW?

Try copying the disk if you have (which you seem to have) a disk copier.

Failing that, try ISOBUSTER from isobuster.com

I suspect the new'burn' has trashed the existing stuff. This can happen if the incorrect setting is
selected[ depends on the burn programs you use so i cannot say more than this]
How ever all is not lost.

each will attempt to 'pull up' stuff and let you see them om screen if it is able.
To save them you will have to purchase a release code about £20 ish
