Unable to connect to wireless network using BT Hub

Hi - I'd be really grateful if anyone could help me out please.

I've just been sent a replacement BT Home Hub and have been trying to set it up. The set-up CD told me that I was unable to set up the wireless connection because I needed to select Windows XP as my wireless network configuration. I wasn't aware that this wasn't what I was using and I've searched through the whole program menu but can't seem to find an option to do this.

The old BT Home Hub worked fine and I've done nothing to change my settings. I can connect to the internet via the ethernet cable (obviously!) but no joy with the wireless.

Help and thanks!

this could be a setting within the home hub. I had a similar problem setting up a laptop for wireless and eventually found that the laptop had a switch to turn wireless on and off. Once turned on the home hub had no problems connecting it.

Thanks Howard.

I didn't have a switch in the end, but I was however, just being stupid!!!
