Do you have the XP cd or a rescue disk..

Have you added ir removed any programs or updates?

  kimosabi 02:09 16 Jan 2003

hi andysd
no don't have rescue disk
yes have removed some progs and installed some

Hi kimosabi

Im a little tired at the moment but does that mean you have the Windows XP cd if so put it in the drive and close the window that opens and go Start/All Programs/Accessories and choose Command Prompt... type in

sfc /scannow

and hit return

If not then you will need to use System Restore back to a time when you know it was working. But you will lose the use of any programs added after that point.

Sometimes the links on PCA site can be a little stick and require you to click two or three times, also have you tried a double click?

AndySD NR5 9BS mean anything to you? J.

Quit all programs that are running.

Click Start, and then click Run.

Type regsvr32 /i urlmon.dll

and then click OK.

When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, click OK.
