this doesnt work on all web pages and not on the pca site. what site are you trying this on?

  charlton200 18:32 25 Sep 2004

all sites.

it will not change what ever screen resolution either.

when i but it on 800x 600 the text size is massive and when i put it on the screen resolution (i forget the numbers) the text size is to small.

but whatever, i am unable to change the text.

As huggyg71 says not all sites will do this.

Try changing the size on this site click here

try this then: click 'tools/internet options/general/accessibility' and untick all the boxes here and click ok. does it work now?

1/ yes the text does change on that site.
2/all boxs were unticked in there.

Yep, so it is a site-specific "feature".

If you want to be able to change text size on just about any page use Firefox click here

Just a PS to this one.

In Win XP if you go to Control Panel/Appearances & Themes/Display/Settings/Advanced tab. you can change the font size there and it does work not just on Microsoft but on some other sites as well. You have to re-start for the changes to take effect.

one can also go to tool internet options accessibility and place a tick in ignore font sizes specified on web pages then by holding ctrl and scrolling with ones wheel on mouse font size can be varied at will.
