Un-partioning a hard drive

On a computer running XP Pro I have a 40GB hard drive that on set-up I had partioned into 4 equal parts. I have used Drives C and E both for programmes and data and drives D and F remain empty. I am now getting pop-ups to say drive C is full. So, is it an easy and safe job to allocate the free space to drive C (without a complete re-install)and how do I do it? I have no Drive Partitioning software so are any free (or on the DVD) programmes any good?

Free partitioning software that is as good as any. click here. Personally I would remove everything from E: drive and also try to free up space on C: drive before installing and running software. No partitioning software can guarantee that it will not lose any information during process. Good luck!!!
