Two Web Sites on one page

I am a novice when talking about publishing a site onto a server against by own domain name.

I have created two sites using Serif WebPlus V4

Is it possible to have two sites running on the same domain name and server?

If so can anyone guide me though the way to do it?

Thanks in Advance
Mike

The only way I can think of achieving this is to have a master home page which has links to the main (home) page of each of your two websites.

Each website can then be simply a collection of interlinked sub-pages.

By default, when you enter a domain name (such as www. yourdomain.co.uk) in a browser address bar, the index.html (or index.htm) file at that location is loaded and then all navigation around the website is subordinate to that.

If you were to have the entry point to one website (at the domian) using index.html and the entry point to the other using, say, web2index.html (or, even better, /web2/index.html )you could do what you want. But it would mean that users of the second website wouuld need to specify as www. yourdomain.co.uk/web2index.html (or www. yourdomain.co.uk/web2/index.html) in order to access it.
