By default, when you enter a domain name (such as www. yourdomain.co.uk) in a browser address bar, the index.html (or index.htm) file at that location is loaded and then all navigation around the website is subordinate to that.
If you were to have the entry point to one website (at the domian) using index.html and the entry point to the other using, say, web2index.html (or, even better, /web2/index.html )you could do what you want. But it would mean that users of the second website wouuld need to specify as www. yourdomain.co.uk/web2index.html (or www. yourdomain.co.uk/web2/index.html) in order to access it.
