Two Different Powerline Makes

  Kilty 09:55 20 Apr 2009

Is it possible to use two different powerline products on one system. For example, if I have a netgear adapter to the modem, can I add a different brand to plug in to transmit?

Thanks in advance for any help given.

If you are trying to get two different powerline products communicating as a pair I would very much doubt it can be done

if you are useing two different powerline products in pairs then they should work without crosstalk there may be a bandwidth reduction though if they both transmit on the same frequency range

This would imply yes, if they are the same 'version' i.e all V1 models can talk to each other.
