I am trying to load CANONSCAN 1250U2 on to a VISTA laptop that was formerly on a XP desktop.

Message tells me that there is no TWAIN driver. Any ideas from where that could be downloaded?

Are these true Canon drivers?

After a bit of searching on the awful canon site I found this which might help - suitable for 32bit Vista click here=

Sorry about the delay - had to clean the stair-carpets!
Thanks everyone - there's a lot of useful stuff there that I can access the moment I get my router for the new machine.
RAHERE- Canon make some cracking hardware but their website is a mess and not helped by their very short periods of software support. You were clever to get that far - I didn't.
CROSSTRAINER - That's a useful site. I'm new to VISTA and the new machine has minimal documentation and NOTHINNG abouit VISTA.(Thankyou Uncle DELL!) Wish I could afford to XP it instead. Better a devil you know...
Regards to all and thanks
