good day all

im looking to record live tv and old home vhs videos from my tv on to my pc can anyone give me good ideas on what tv card to get and should i get a usb one or a internal one?

I have one of these click here which I'm more than happy with.

It is USB but you can get PCI versions.

I have a Twinhan PCI Freeview D+A (Digital + Analogue) card that does exactly what you require, but is now discontinued.

You may still find one via a Google search (model number is 3054).

Always remember - you get what you pay for.

I had a couple of cheap TV cards before I bought the Hauppauge. They were just that - cheap and not very good. I wasn't impressed with Hauppauge products in the past but decided to give them another chance and have been more than satisfied this time.
