Im after either a internal or external tv card.Ive been looking at a pvr but this seemed a little to expensive. Does anyone know of any which could fit in my price bracket of between £30 and £60. Many Thanks.

Freecom DVB-T USB click here

I can throughly recommend it. Might need a good indoor aerial to go with it if the signal is a bit weak. Excellent recording off the TV.

Note you might need a USB 2.0 port and not just an old USB 1.1 port.

Thanks PaulB2005 does that system record tv to your harddrive?

Yes. As an MPG. You can then import it into Nero Vision Express or another video editing software. Once burnt to DVD it's almost indistinguishable from the original TV broadcast! Even on a 28" Widescreen.

It also has a TimeShift feature (so you can pause live TV) which is set by default to a max of 10 minutes but you can increase that.

The manual leaves a lot to be desired and i had to play with the TimeShift feature a bit to work out how to use it.
