HI folks,

I have just put a new Hard-drive into my computer and am trying to get the TV card working. I do not have the drivers for it on XP (as was originally WinME). The card is a hauppauge 44805 Rev C135 and is quite old now. It was part of an old Evesham axis 1.4 system:-

There are no drivers for this card on the hauppauge support website, and my request from the customer service for drivers for XP was never replied to. I can't find the driver anywhere on the web - anyone know where one is? or got a copy?

Cheers,
Mark

Hi johnny,

That link just took me to a goole search page which included my own request! There was a link to the hauppauge homepage, but as i've said i can't find it there!

Are you sure that the model number is correct?

It doesn't work using the first two numbers on this page:

It's definitely that card.
All the information on the card is:-

TV Card Hauppauge 1999 WinTV PAL-I 44805 REV C125 s/n 2400497

Any ideas?

It came with Evesham Axis 1400 in 2001

Most likely only an analogue card; it could be that Hauppauge never bothered with XP drivers.

You could try the Hauppauge WDM drivers with third party TV card software to scan for channels - an example is:

Based on that information, see:

which should cover your requirements.

Note that on this page there's also a manual section, plus a "Get information on your WinTV" download.

TRy first download from click here

You have nothing to loose, It may work and if not just uninstall it and do a system restore to before the driver

With all due respects, the link I've mentioned provides the correct version of WDM drivers (plus the application) for use with XP.

Then he should try that first
