Turning off wireless access in DG834G

I want to stop using wireless due to my missus's health fears. I have the above router and would like to use powerpoint with it. I obviously want to stop all wireless signals coming from the router. If I simply disable wireless access point in the router this won't stop wireless signals being emitted will it?
Is there a way to do this or do I have to buy a router without wireless capability?

Just simply turn off the wireless access , it stops the wireless being broadcast , not just the SSID , but all of it .
