Trying to install MSN but getting error message

  edenworkshops 18:01 03 May 2010

I am running Win 2000 and I have tried several times to download and install MSN Messenger.

Every time I try to run the installer I get an error message saying that it is not a win32 application.

Can anyone help me please?

Thank you

Possibly a corrupt download, try deleting temp files in IE then re-download and try the install again.

Not sure if you can still download MSN Messenger anymore.
I had to download Windows Messenger but I can still use my MSN E-mail address from there.

Thank you for your replies, it was indeed a corrupt installation file.
