trouble with wmiprvse.exe

Hi! I've been haveing trouble with wmiprvse.exe useing up 100% cpu for some reason, have virus checked + spyware checked, I understand it's a windows management programme and i can only find it in the sys32 folder where it should be [so i've been told] also it replicates it's self i can have upto 25 different versions of it running sometimes, it's starting to get to me now i used to be able to just reeboot the pc to clear it, it still works but a couple of minutes later it starts again Help me please!!

Found some stuff out for you . The wmiprvse.exe is a windows file found in C:\windows\System32 folder.However this is sometimes also the alias for the W32/Sonebot-B virus , it hides in the registry and my link will tell you where it is , how to locate it , and more importantly how to remove it.Heres the link click here

thanks curlylad been scanning all day and think i've got rid of it been running stable now for 7 hrs and managed to play a clan match so will leave it for the moment and see how it goes, thanks for your response
