Trouble installing Windows 2K on my Toshiba

  Bob Bob™ 20:33 03 Feb 2008

To cut a long story short I need to get Win 2K on my old toshiba but the only Win 2K cd I have is Win 2K + SP3 re-installation cd from my old Dell, and when I try to install the laptop tells me that its for a Dell system only.
Fair enough, but is there anyway to get rid of this Dell requirement?

Its been bugging me all day so I downloaded a Win2K ISO and stuck it on a CD, it got the very start of the Win 2000 setup going but told me to insert the CD Labeled blah blah to continue, couldn't get past that part so I had a brain wave to put the Dell CD I have in and see if that would work and HEY PRESTO it worked, but only until the formatting of the drive finished. I got an error

"The following value in the .SIF file used by Setup is missing: Value 0 on the line in section [SourceDisksFile] with key '' Setup cannot continue. To quit Setup, press F3."

Any ideas?
