Trojans amazing how did they get in?

Had problems with malware/trojans. So yesterday reformatted and clean installed XP SP3. Put new Zone Alarm firewall, Avast, and Spyware Blaster. All updated and active very quickly. working thru firewalled router
Not opened any emails, downloaded anything much as installed most of software from USB.
Have just run Emisoft Anti-Malware and its found:
Backdoor.Win32VB!K
Trojan.Win32Gendel

Wonder if from the USB, other than that have no idea how the Pc became infected so quickly. Unless false positives.

Just checked locations and they are reported as being in the program files for PC Accelerator Lite which I had from an old PC Advisor disc. Have used to tweak and find it quite good.

Assume that these finds are false positives?

If false positives Emisoft will enable them on the next update providing you did not delete them.
