Trojan vundo

  123stables 18:30 04 Sep 2008

I have read other threads on this but don't know which to follow as they are a little different to mine. I had vundo in 3 files, norton got rid of 2. One can't be deleted. It is in C:\windows\system32\_C009FF34.DAT can anyone help. I tried a vundo fixtool from norton but its still here and slowing everything down. as in the song "Show me the way to go home". HELP. ray

The link for Malwarebytes from mfletch is your best bet as that was the only one that worked for me.

Thanks everyone.....malwarebytes did the trick. It was embbeded in 275 places. Is it worth buying this program to prevent further problems or is there something better I am on norton anitvirus 2002 but updated weekly...? cheers ray
